The PRPM Alt-Tech extravaganza (18.01.21)
No, you're not mishearing me and no, I'm not advertising the Robocop reboot where Alex Murphy dyes his hair and starts listening to a bit too much of the top 100, no, we are talking about alt-tech today, a rather trendy topic but one that I'm gonna talk about nonetheless (Because it's worth talking about, not because I want to be popular). So, if you've been sleeping under a rock, or you've woken up from a couple of weeks of a peyote coma, here's the skinny.
Essentially, over the last few weeks, big tech (Places like Twitter and Facebook namely, but also Google and Amazon) have been targetting smaller social media platforms who made the decision to not platform, restrict links or outright remove websites like Parler from key terms, and in some cases the fuckin' internet! The whole issue is a bit of a mess, but the best way I could explain it would be simple, Silicon Valley has taken it's mask off, and is completely tyrannical (Which is ironic, because I currently operate a few big-tech social media accounts for this blog, see how long those last lol). But, in reaction to this, most people who're considered undesirable or deplorable by the mainstream are packing up, we're out! To anyone reading this blog, I implore you, pick up alt-tech! These people are not our friends, they are selling us out and trying to enforce censorship despite being neutral carriers of information. The fact that this hasn't been tackled by any major government is frankly, a fucking embarrassment. The incoming administration in the US is practically salivating at the thought of the idea. "They must repent" they shout from under their chairs in the capital (I won't lie, seeing politicians cowering in fear like that was a good laugh) as the media spins and chugs to spew out smear piece after smear piece. The people who are still on big-tech eat this shit up! These are the people who #RESIST and preach social ideologies like they're part of their personality, you don't want to be these people, so I will always recommend moving to alt-tech.
I've got a list of a few decent alt-tech sites and their uses below:
Minds - "an alt-tech blockchain-based social network. Users can earn money or cryptocurrency for using Minds, and tokens can be used to boost their posts or crowdfund other users
Gab - Another alt-tech social media network, with a focus on it's strong belief in the right to freedom of expression
Bitchute - A UK based Youtube replacement, highly recommended if you're looking for something considered unpalatable by the lamestream.
I would include more quoted descriptions of these websites, but as always the smear campaign has already begun. Comb through the first 10 results of a search for "What is [Insert alt-tech site here] ?", I'm willing to bet my big toe on the fact that the words "alt-right", "White Supremacist" and "Nazi" will appear in at least 13 of each 20. It's fucking fake, this is just the label that they call things they don't like, because nobody wants to be called a racist. Well, you know what ya silicon smoking scumbags? I'll happily be called a racist for my belief that freedom of speech is a human right, now get to it! Until next time, ya dirty punks, keep doing what you're doin'.
