Photo of the whenever 1 (5.12.20)

Now, for a new segment of my blog, I give you "Photo of the whenever"! This will simply be whenever I post a photo to the blog, which will be labelled as such, allowing for easier management and viewing for the unlucky sod who comes on here.

Firstly, a brief bit of info on the camera I use:

I use a Polaroid 300, and Instax Mini film,  personally I don't really mind the tiny photos, but if I get a new camera then I'd switch happily.

Black leather, white walls and wood floor, what else do you need?
The pair of photos I'm bringing to the blog today are one old and one new. This first photo was the second that I took after my test shoot, and is very simple. Laminate wood floor, Solovair boots and a white wall, I fucking love it. I think simplicity is the best form a piece can be, or anything for that matter, so that's why I think my eye finds this image pleasing. It's grungy, intimidating and sleek thanks to the shiny leather and stitched steel toe of the boots, but that's about it. Can't get any better than black leather, white walls and wood floor.

I love how vintage this film looks, the camera really brings that feeling together.
After that, we have something festive! Our family Christmas tree, picked out today by my youngest brother, and decorated with vintage baubles. This is the spirit of the season, captured in something the size of a credit card in my eyes. I don't have as much to say, but the familial warmth and festive feeling I get from this image is strong.

[Until the next batch of pictures, peace out ya bastards] - Em.
